I watched that earlier this week, but watched it again. It beautiful. It reminds me of watching conference and hearing Elder Eyring say these words. President Henry B. Eyring taught: “It will comfort us when we must wait in distress for the Savior’s promised relief that He knows, from experience, how to heal and help us. … And faith in that power will give us patience as we pray and work and wait for help. He could have known how to succor us simply by revelation, but He chose to learn by His own personal experience.” I felt the spirit confirm to me that truth, but little did I know that I would learn in a more personal way, through experiencing His healing how true those words are. I am grateful to know more personally the beautiful gift the atonement brings, not just for repenting but for healing.

Wow. That's awesome Danette. The thing that I have been thinking about a lot lately is...
The war is already won. It is won. We know the outcome. We know the winner.
The decision that needs to be made is where we stand in the fight, not the actual fight, but where WE line up. Which side are WE on?

John 16:33
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

He has overcome the world. That is past tense. He has already accomplished that. Done and done.

That is so true. We have a lady in our ward that talks about being on the Lord's team--that reminded me of that. It is amazing, we just have to show up and put forth some effort and then HE will magnify that. Today in SS we were studying the woman taken in adultery and Jesus said who ever wants to cast the first stone...well one person made the comment about how every left, but the woman didn't. She could have run away in shame, seems a natural response. But she didn't she stayed and because she stayed she received forgiveness. I was just amazed, I can't believe I didn't see that before! I always focus on the judging part. So many times we feel like we can't ask for forgiveness, or even pray because we aren't "worthy". Or we think we can't ask forgiveness AGAIN, but that is the whole point. Like you said, it is already done and done! We just have to stick with the Savior, stay with him, on His side and ask for it and we will receive it.
