Samantha's Birthday

We went bowling at BYU.

Camille was enjoying the air. Samantha had lots of fun. She bowled a 96.
Nicolas was trying to pick up a 9 lb. ball. He was making funny straining noises. He is SO cute.
After bowling we went to Chuck-A-Rama for dinnr. Bubba was hilarious, he would leave the table and then come back with something new, like gold fish, or jello, or a slushy, or ice cream.
Afer dinner we went and watched our High School Hockey team play. It was pretty intense. Andrea's brother, Cameron is one of the coaches. And Shannon, her nephew, is on the team. Half the Loflin crew was there...Marv & JoJean, Celeste, Andrea & Gene. Lauri and Cameron. Amy and her baby Alex (Celeste's grandson).
When we got home, we opened presents, I think that was Sam's favorite part.

TAXI HAT

I feel as though I have been wearing my taxi hat a lot these days! Camille is in a different elementary school then Samantha and Lindsey. Bri and Kenna have another game tonight. It is so much fun watching them. I asked Lexi to take pictures of her last game, but she didn't do very good, maybe tonight.

We are thinking about Maddi! WE LOVE HER SO MUCH! Our thoughts are turned to her today, and we will anxiously watch her post.

Camille

Camille wanted me to tell everyone about our sledding adventure, so here it goes...Camille and I went down every run together, except the last one. We started out together but she was going down backwards and she didn't like it, so I was trying to turn her and the cord that kept us together slipped out of my hands. I went flying down the hill and Camille came after me. She said that she was closing her eyes the whole time while she was alone. I am just glad that the cord didn't snap back and hit her in the face.

Puppies

The puppies are all gone. The last one went to her new home last night. That was very hard for me and some of the kids. When "blondie" left last night Bubba started crying and said that he really wanted to keep "little runt." I had to laugh because he didn't even know which puppy was which, that funny little boy.

Happy New Years!

We had fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa and Hillmans. Grandpa made his infamous lime shakes. Bubba kept drinking mine, actually I was fighting several of my children to get a drink. Kelly made yummy jalapeno poppers! We all took turns winning Rumikub. Lindsey and Camille were on my team...we ROCKED! Kelsey and Lexi pulled an all nighter. I bet that made for an easy ride home. Grandma even stayed awake until Midnight, but just barely.
Happy New Year everyone!

We went sledding at Solier Hollow on Saturday. Bubba went down once with his dad and decided that from then on he could do it "all by myself." It was a bit scary watching him race down that hill alone

Christmas Morning

Our Christmas morning is going to be one of mass confusion! Alexis, Emily and I were wrapping presents last night, I think we had too much to drink. We had some Sunkist, full of caffeine, and well, things got out of hand. We wrapped some presents for Alfonso, Bob and Larry the cable guy. It was so much fun. I can't remember when I laughed so hard. The little girls saw the presents this morning and were asking who they were for, when we told them, they asked, "Who are they and where are ours?" Ha ha ha ha!

Ya know how I wrote this the other day...well....it got worse. Brianne found presents for everyone around the house, for example, I had a present from Bri, it was 1 of my flip flops. Alexis and Emily both got hangers. She is a crazy girl. Camille didn't think it was so funny when she unwrapped her "special box" and Lindsey unwrapped the shirt she got for her birthday.
Silly girl! I think the funniest was when Chris was blow drying his hair and he was using the girls dryer because he couldn't find his. I found his "present" under the tree and told him that he should unwrap it. Bri ran down the hall and said, "I picked that for you because I knew you would love it!"

Thanksgiving

What a fun holiday! We decided to get together on Wednesday to eat our pie and play games. We wanted to enjoy our pie and not be so stuffed on Thursday. It was a lot of fun. Mom pulled out rummycube of course...
Thursday we met at Whitney's. I was incharge of the pickles wrapped in cream cheese and ham, and the onions in cream cheese and cheddar cheese, the stuffing, the pistachio pudding. I made plain peach jello too...and of course chocolate pie and banana pie. I don't think I have prepared so much stuff for thanksgiving in all my life. It was fun because the girls helped me a lot and we got to spend some time in the kitchen together.
Brianne and Missy invented a new game, it is a cross between soccer, basketball and wall ball. You use a big yoga ball. It is intense. We call it "no apologizes." I think the name speaks for itself. I'll just say the name came about because Dustin hammered me in the face and gave me whiplash. I really don't think anyone went away without an injury!
