Here are some pictures from Little Women.

This is Beth (lexi) and Jo (Celeste) singing, Some Things Were Meant to Be.
Beth: You're a woman of the world now. I'm so proud of you, Jo."
Jo: When you were first born, not an hour old, I told Marmee...
Beth: (finishing her sentence) Beth is mine!
Jo: Everyone has someone special in the world, and I have you."
Jo: My sweet Beth, give me a task to do!
"Let's pretend we're riding on a kite. Let's imagine we're flying through the air. We'll ascend until we're out of sight....

"Some things were meant to be: The clouds moving fast and free. The sun on the silver sea. A sky that's bright and blue. And some things will never end: The thrill of our magic ride. The love that I feel inside for you. Jo: We'll climb high beyond the break of day. Beth: Sleep on stardust and dine on bits of moon. Jo: You and I will find the Milky way...."

Beth: Can I tell you a secret? Jo: Anything. Beth: I never made plans about what I would do when I grow up. And I'm not afraid to die. Jo: I won't let it happen. You'll get better. You will.

"Beth: Somethings were meant to be. The tide turning endlessly, The way it takes hold of me. No matter what I do. But somethings will never die: The promise of who you are, Your memories when I am far from you. All my life I've lived for loving you. Let me go now."

This is Jo after singing "ASTONISHING.

I wish that I had taken this picture with her on the other end of the picture (on the left)But it was really dark and I had taken SO many that my eyes hurt and were twitching.

This is Beth singing "OFF TO MASSACHUSETTS"
I know it is blurry, it was so hard to take in the dark and have the shutter open so long. Any movement at all made it blur. But at least it will help bring back memories for Alexis when she looks at these.

Beth (Lexi) telling Jo (Celeste)
that the shell is 1000 years old and has a story, if you listen to it. Jo asks what is says and Beth replies it says,"We grow up too fast."
Song: Some things were meant to be.

Lexi before the show.

I realize it is the same picture...

but I can't help it, it is SO funny to me and makes me laugh...HARD! Bri's face, Em and the orange, the little ones being clueless as to what is going on. Funny!

The L O N G E S T day ever!

I am glad to be sitting in front of my computer doin' nothin'. I have had another go...go...go day. I got up at 6:30, got kids off to school. Camille missed the bus; I lost track of time.
Then Emily had an ortho appointment. It took 1 1/2 hours because her teeth were so sensitive. I went to the store.
Then I took the dog for a walk, I decided I had to fit it in then or else I wouldn't get to it.
I walked for 3 miles.
Then I got the kids from school, and we went to Bri's basketball game. She hurt her knee, she came down on someone's foot. OUCH! I didn't stay for the Varsity game though.
Then we had New Beginnings, I had to give a "message". I thought a lot about it, but I didn't write much down. I think it went o.k. Alexis had to (got to) give a talk too. It was good. She is just super cute!
I also got 2 loads of laundry done and I got the house straighten up a bit.
So I feel like it was very productive.

I LOVE THIS!

Emily had oranges in her braces, and we were cracking up! This is already outdated, because Emily got her braces off today!

Samantha's Birthday

We went bowling at BYU.

Camille was enjoying the air. Samantha had lots of fun. She bowled a 96.
Nicolas was trying to pick up a 9 lb. ball. He was making funny straining noises. He is SO cute.
After bowling we went to Chuck-A-Rama for dinnr. Bubba was hilarious, he would leave the table and then come back with something new, like gold fish, or jello, or a slushy, or ice cream.
Afer dinner we went and watched our High School Hockey team play. It was pretty intense. Andrea's brother, Cameron is one of the coaches. And Shannon, her nephew, is on the team. Half the Loflin crew was there...Marv & JoJean, Celeste, Andrea & Gene. Lauri and Cameron. Amy and her baby Alex (Celeste's grandson).
When we got home, we opened presents, I think that was Sam's favorite part.

TAXI HAT

I feel as though I have been wearing my taxi hat a lot these days! Camille is in a different elementary school then Samantha and Lindsey. Bri and Kenna have another game tonight. It is so much fun watching them. I asked Lexi to take pictures of her last game, but she didn't do very good, maybe tonight.

We are thinking about Maddi! WE LOVE HER SO MUCH! Our thoughts are turned to her today, and we will anxiously watch her post.

Camille

Camille wanted me to tell everyone about our sledding adventure, so here it goes...Camille and I went down every run together, except the last one. We started out together but she was going down backwards and she didn't like it, so I was trying to turn her and the cord that kept us together slipped out of my hands. I went flying down the hill and Camille came after me. She said that she was closing her eyes the whole time while she was alone. I am just glad that the cord didn't snap back and hit her in the face.

Puppies

The puppies are all gone. The last one went to her new home last night. That was very hard for me and some of the kids. When "blondie" left last night Bubba started crying and said that he really wanted to keep "little runt." I had to laugh because he didn't even know which puppy was which, that funny little boy.

Happy New Years!

We had fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa and Hillmans. Grandpa made his infamous lime shakes. Bubba kept drinking mine, actually I was fighting several of my children to get a drink. Kelly made yummy jalapeno poppers! We all took turns winning Rumikub. Lindsey and Camille were on my team...we ROCKED! Kelsey and Lexi pulled an all nighter. I bet that made for an easy ride home. Grandma even stayed awake until Midnight, but just barely.
Happy New Year everyone!

We went sledding at Solier Hollow on Saturday. Bubba went down once with his dad and decided that from then on he could do it "all by myself." It was a bit scary watching him race down that hill alone
